I’ve been hearing that any athlete who tests positive at the Game will have to be quarantined for a couple of weeks in China before he returns home.

That possibility alone is enough to give players pause.

To me the most sickening thing is that the nhl had no compunction about prohibiting participation in the South Korean olympics in 2018, yet is allowing this. I have known for a long time that the other sports leagues lack principals (especially the nba) but it is unfortunate to see the nhl heading down the same path.

The list of reasons not to participate in any olympics, especially ones outside of the North American continent, is long.

How about joining with the Women's Professional Tennis Association and not hold the games in China...Move them to a combination of cities such as Seattle/Vancouver, Detroit/Toronto or even FLA and Tampa Bay where they can be monitored and protected....
